FO: Wonderful Wallaby

I was excited to finish Jaiden’s Wonderful Wallaby hoodie for camping  this past weekend.  I knit this with Nice and Knit‘s yarn- DK in Nantucket color way.  Their yarn is pretty great and it’s dyed locally, which I love.  The fiber is so soft, the colorway vibrant and the yarn durable- which are all qualities to make up a great toddler knit (not to mention some for me in the near future, as well)!

The pattern is only available in print. I picked it up at my local yarn shop- Knit Two-Gether.  You can also purchase Nice and Knit yarn there as well, or online in their Etsy shop.  The pattern gives instructions for this seamless hoodie (knit from the bottom up) in sizes 2T through Adult XL.

I look forward to seeing him wear his knit hoodie this summer around campfires, at The Cape, evenings out…He threw on this hoodie right when we got to the campground. The sun was getting low-it was perfect sweatshirt weather.  I just can’t get enough of my boy in his new knit sweatshirt- just adorable!

  1. Carole this is the best little sweatshirt I’ve ever seen. Your photography is awesome also! Glad you had a great camping trip and thanks for all of your kind words !!

  2. Carole! I love this! You are such an awesome knitter- makes me wanna try this colorway next. (Since I don’t have enough yarn and everything. 😉
