Succulents

I picked up these cute mini succulent plants last week but have been waiting to find the perfect little planters to pot them in.  I finally found these handpainted terra cotta windowsill pots at Anthropologie.  Made just for succulents, they were the perfect find.

IMG_0074While picking up these little beauties I found myself questioning how to care for them.  Here’s what I found out:
– they like more water than a cactus (~3x week) :: – plant them in a mix of potting soil and peat moss :: – the rocks on the top are just decorative and serve no growing purpose :: – they like filtered sunlight
