FO: Henslowe

I recently finished Henslowe. It’s a shawl with lacework that is knit in 3 different directions. When I first started knitting 2 years ago I admired my friends who were able to knit this pattern. I didn’t think I would be able to knit such a detailed shawl so I waited a couple years.

The knit was very rewarding, fairly quick and a very easy to read pattern. I know others who highly recommended this pattern to me and now that I have knit it and would say the same!

Tonight we are celebrating Mom’s birthday and I’m excited to give her this shawl.  She picked out the yarn and I picked the pattern. I think she’ll love it!
