In Threes: Baby Cardigan

Last week I started knitting a baby cardigan. I had to put Tropical Breezeon hold for a bit, and wasn’t too happy about that! I am knitting this cardigan for my boss’s new little daughter, Hannah Elizabeth. I only have a couple more inches to complete and then I’ll sew on the 3 buttons. I hope to show you the finished product real soon!

I am using Classic Elite Sundance yarn in a nice soft gold. I found the cutest little skirt to go with it from Babygap.

This cardigan can be knit in several sizes from 0 months to 5 T. You only need to know a few basic skills to complete this pattern such as CO, BO, knit, purl, KFB, K2tog, and YO. I think this would be a perfect project for someone who has never knit a garment piece before. It is knit top-down in one piece and there is no seeming involved and it does not require a lot of yarn. There are over a 1,000 projects to look at on Ravelry, so check them out!
